Just found these photos by Sarah Cass. I love that her pictures, (featuring mostly musicians, including some of my favorites: Thao and Mirah) are bright, colorful and full of energy.

Love Note..

Since my commute to work everyday from our island home is so long (it takes two cars, a boat, some walking -sometimes running to get me to work each day) my sweetie wakes up with me and makes me breakfast and tea while I get dressed each morning. Beyond this sweeter then sweet gesture he also leaves little love notes in my breakfast bag on occasion. Here is the latest. He actually kept adding on to this one and putting it back into the bag. I think this one lasted about three days... :)

A walk in the woods...

It was during this month last year, when the Chanterelle mushrooms were popping up out of the moss and from under Selale leaves, that my sweetie proposed. That morning hunting for delicious, delectable mushrooms lead to so much more. These memories inspired me to take some pics of these little bitty mushrooms found in the woods around our place.

Rockin' Out...

What more can we say? The Wolzckos are simply the best and we love them and their rockin' band. Thank you to Stefe, Dom, Madeline, G Web, Beebs, as well as guest vocalist Don Juan.

Honeymooning...

Aloha! Per-Lars and I had a blast on our honeymoon in Kauai. I can't rave enough about the place we stayed, it was perfect for our low-key get away. I would highly recommend this lovely condo we stayed in -owned by our good friends, the Martins- to anyone planning a trip to Kauai, it's the place to be.

Success!!!! We're Married!

P-L and I are off to Hawaii, but before we leave just wanted to say thank you everyone for joining us at the best party of our lives! We had so much fun and we hope you feel the same way.
