I love the first shot in this group. Isn't it pretty? The lighting and the selective focus are lovely. I love my leather rustic old leather chair. I think I will give it some care this weekend and make a new cushion cover and tighten some screws. Ya' know bonding.

Something about that yellow couch (the second pic from the top) just makes me go all melty inside.

Check out this sweet before and after from Design*Sponge. I love the grey with the brass hardware. I want that hardware. Do you think it came on the piece? I've been scouring Craigslist for just such a sideboard to make this for myself. No luck so far, they're all too expensive or too ugly. I do get obsessive about this kind of stuff though, so don't be surprised if you see my own little before and after here some day. 

New Chair

Just found a gem of a chair at a near by salvage place. A gorgeous cognac leather arm chair for $60!! It needs some work though, the seat cushion is a little torn in a couple places so I'm hoping to try my hand at upholstering it. This will be a feat because I don't know anything about sewing, but I'm very excited to learn.
