I've got to do this...

Check out this sweet before and after from Design*Sponge. I love the grey with the brass hardware. I want that hardware. Do you think it came on the piece? I've been scouring Craigslist for just such a sideboard to make this for myself. No luck so far, they're all too expensive or too ugly. I do get obsessive about this kind of stuff though, so don't be surprised if you see my own little before and after here some day.

I have been sooo very obsessed with bedding lately.  I love love love this picture. That blanket is so pretty.  I've been searching all over and been really liking the look and price found with miss matched linens. Here's what I have planned for my bed:

I found this quilted duvet cover on ebay for $100 off the retail price. I was so excited! I love the the color and the inspiration was the blanket above.

New Chair

Just found a gem of a chair at a near by salvage place. A gorgeous cognac leather arm chair for $60!! It needs some work though, the seat cushion is a little torn in a couple places so I'm hoping to try my hand at upholstering it. This will be a feat because I don't know anything about sewing, but I'm very excited to learn.
